Announcement and Issues

• Agent WG status?

• Still need assistance assembling the Annual Review for the LF Edge TAC on March 22nd.  The WG Chairs should help out as needed.

• Project updates from Board call

• Readout on MWC?

• LF Edge Marketing will be publishing post on Open Retail use case in a week or two.

• What should we do when we encounter an OEM that would like to add FDO support and confirm compatibility?  Is this an issue for the SDO project, or should we assist?

• New feature request ... per-org limits in ideation phase.

Documentation Working Group

• 15 PRs merged again, same as last fortnight

• Will be modifying "Edit in GitHub" link on documentation pages

• Will be moving content in exchange-api  repo from .README.md to /docs

• Will be adding GitHub Large File Storage (LFS) to SmartAg-images repo

• New feature designs

  • "Change Freeze" mode where the Agent will continue to run any active agreements / workloads but will not contact the Mgmt Hub for changes to agreements

    • Goal: prevent agreements / workloads from changing while the edge node is in a safety critical state.

  • "Prefetch" the service container before forming new agreement / canceling old agreement - fine grained control of states within agreement formation

  • Node-specific Secrets

  • Multi-namespace Edge Cluster Agent

• Rebase UBI containers on UBI9

• Documentation updates and edits

Management Hub Working Group

• Discussed the creation of an Ansible script that would wrap the All-in-one environment script.

• Working on a more robust CORS implementation.

Examples Working Group

• Agent now supports operator-sdk v1.x; working on an updated operator example built with operator-sdk v1.27

• Merged a couple PRs closed a couple issues

• Need to cancel Examples Working Group Meeting tomorrow ... also need to find myself a new proxy and backup with Glen leaving
