Review Project Mission Statement
The mission of the Project is to develop open source software to autonomously and securely manage the service software lifecycle of global or local fleets of edge compute nodes in various connected states as the delivery and management component of the industry-standard open edge computing platform solution.
-- expand edge to hybrid cloud compute?
-- types of workloads?
-- Do we need to mention AI or Edge AI?
-- multiple statements on the site?
-- mention inferencing?
-- mention containerized workloads?
-- How about MLOps?

Review WG Mission Statements:

The Open Horizon project's Agent Working Group exists to facilitate use and development of the Open Horizon platform by collaborating with all interested parties to enhance the capabilities and features of the Open Horizon agent to meet new and emerging use cases
-- added OS support and new contexts
-- Do we mention the AgBot?
-- Built-in and custom properties?

  • Developer Examples
The Developer Examples Working Group exists to demonstrate the features of the Open Horizon platform by creating easy to use microservices and applications.
-- Also shows specific features and use cases
-- provides an ecosystem of functional services and patterns

  • Documentation
The Open Horizon project's Documentation Working Group exists to facilitate use and development of the Open Horizon platform by providing documentation materials in multiple formats and languages for the project's community.
-- don’t help develop OH core, just the user side
-- should we assist with integration (which we don’t do today)
