Setting a goal of only admitting fifteen eager students, including any alums

  • Docker Desktop

  • Podman Desktop

  • EVE/OS

  • Warp

  • Visual Studio Code

  • DevZero.io

  • Create and maintain test cases and test suites for Exchange and Examples

Work on blog posts, conference presentations, marketing web site, wiki posts, documentation

Develop a hello-world-distributed example service

  • Visual Studio Code Extension (GitHub)

Work on starting the foundation of both extensions and documenting the process for future RCOS students to build on.

Last semester, students 

  • completed Hacktoberfest and developed muscle memory for the code commit and merge cycle

  • Tested and documented installation and running of Open Horizon's Agent on Windows

  • Developed a QR code generator service and API wrapper to aid in automated onboarding of SmartAg devices

  • Created LinkedIn accounts if they didn't have them, and connected to industry professionals and experts
