Summary

The meeting focused on the progress and plans for various projects, including the Infinity I Release 2.0, an AI agent project, and robotic development. Discussions covered feature readiness, release schedules, and documentation requirements. Updates on member health and TSC member changes were also shared. Content is as follows:

  • Infinity I Release 2.0

    • OKR and Integration Demo Q&A: Wilson Wang is working on Spear and OKR integration, but it is not ready yet. This topic was skipped.

    • Release Status and Planning: Work Stream 4 has filled in the status for the next release. The federated learning code is working but needs changes, which will take a few weeks. It was decided that Edge Lake will be integrated in Release 2.0, and federated learning will be for Release 2.1.

    • Documentation and Presentation: There are requirements for architecture, installation, test documents, and a one - pager for GMV. The team will fork to the Infiniedge AI or LFH organization and run security scans. A presentation for the edge release is needed, but the team currently doesn't have one. The TSC review may be postponed due to team members' travel.

  • AI Agent Project

    • Project Overview: Noe Otero and Hashem Jaber are working on an AI agent that can analyze children and adults for artistic specs, speech, and possible autism. The system uses camera, microphone, and speaker to extract information for diagnosis.

    • Release and Marketplace Change: They will work on providing a 2.0 release of the code and documentation. The AI agents marketplace will be changed to a more AI - agent deployment on edge devices.

  • Robotic Development

    • Hardware and Data Flow: Speaker 2 has been working on defining the hardware inside the robotic teddy bear for Hashem's project and showed a data - flow diagram. A blog about Release 8 has been published.

    • Use Cases and Edge Computing: The emphasis is on human - machine safety, with use cases in factory floors, warehouses, drones, and automated vehicles. It is a difficult edge - computing problem that must work in disconnected situations.

  • Member Updates

    • Vijay Pal's Health: Vijay Pal was absent for a month due to medical reasons. He is now back and may be able to contribute to the predictive maintenance part of the release.

    • TSC Member Change: Tom Qin proposed replacing Kevin with Simon as a TSC member and will send an email to inform everyone.

  • Follow - up Plans

    • Tom Qin will send an email to ask about the 2.0 release schedule and inform about the TSC member change.

    • Noe Otero and Hashem Jaber will work on providing a 2.0 release of the AI agent project code and documentation and change the agent marketplace concept.

    • Wilson Wang will try to finish the features for the 2.0 release within one or two weeks.

    • Speaker 2 will check with Fucano Song about incorporating Release 8 into the 2.0 release.

00:00 Meeting Kickoff

Meeting Kickoff

10:22 OKR, Release 2.0 Review and Related Document Discussions

This section is a meeting discussion starting with greetings and trying to sync with Tina who's at a Denver conference. Tom Qin shares the agenda. The OKR and integration demo Q&A topic is skipped as Wilson Wang's related work is in progress. The infinity I release 2.0 TSC review is discussed, where work stream 4 has filled in some status but changes for federated learning will take weeks. They consider edge for 2.0 and federated learning for 2.1. Various documents are mentioned, and there are talks about forking repositories and sharing pagers.

18:36 Release Plans and Updates for Multiple Work Streams

This section of the meeting involves Tom Qin discussing various tasks. He asks to run security scans in the G repository and inquires about presentations for each release. Due to team members being at conferences, the Edge Lake review and a release might be postponed. Work stream representatives give updates on release readiness. Hashem Jaber is then introduced by Noe Otero to present on an AI agent project for divergence detection and diagnosis, extracting information from facial expressions, speech, and more, with a demo to follow.

26:51 System application, data analysis, and company collaborations

This section is mainly about a system described by Hashem Jaber. He mentions analyzing visual reports, transcripts, facial metrics like eye - gaze and blink rate. The system also assesses speaking time, vocabulary use relative to age for kids' development evaluation. Pressure analysis includes speech issues and transcription error rates. This information is presented for diagnosis. Different companies are involved, such as Mr Noah's team, TikTok, and Intel. Currently, eight models are in use, some running in parallel with some latency.

28:45 Development of a Physical Agent for Children with AST Diagnosis

This section discusses the development of a physical agent or robot for diagnosing children with AST in different regions. Noe Otero mentions that this is the current project they're working on, aiming to put the agent on a device. The idea came up late last year when they explored opportunities to integrate software and hardware into an edge device. They saw an opportunity to do something positive for the community, and they're pushing the project forward to create a useful tool for those in need. Tom Qin then asks if there are any questions and thanks Hashem Jaber for sharing.

30:16 Release 2.0 Plans, Project Updates and TSC Member Replacement

This section discusses the 2.0 release of a project, with Noe Otero working on documentation and concept for it, marked as TBA for now. Someone updated on robotic teddy - bear hardware and published a blog on release 8. The focus is on human - machine safety, especially in edge computing scenarios. Vijay Pal apologized for absence due to illness. The possibility of incorporating crane release 8 into 2.0 will be discussed. Tom Qin will send emails about the release schedule and TSC member replacement, proposing to replace Kevin with Simon.
