Topic: EdgeLake Southbound Interfaces

Agenda:

  1.  Introduction

  2. Southbound Interfaces Data Flow

  3. Overview of Southbound interfaces with examples

  1. Demos

4.1 MQTT

4.2 Syslog

We presented an overview of our southbound connectors and demonstrated their functionalities in a real-world scenario.

The discussion highlighted our support for a wide range of connectors, including REST, gRPC, OPC-UA, MQTT, Kafka, and Syslog, showcasing their versatility and integration capabilities.

The demo, featured a pre-configured network consisting of a Master node, a Query node, and an Operator node ingesting data from Syslog and MQTT (our cloud broker). We demonstrated the deployment of a second Operator node, configure it to ingest data via MQTT and Syslog, and execute queries across both instances to illustrate seamless data ingestion, scalability, and interoperability within the network.
