Announcement and Issues

@Joseph Pearson

  • China SIG updates

    • Collaboration w/Kepler on bringing sustainability to the edge.  They will be brainstorming

    • Presentation of OH at Industrial Internet Conference organized by Alliance of Industrial Internet.  @David (Deactivated) will give a briefing on OH in the open source use case collection to be announced at the conference.

  • Jun Gu, Open-source & Community Director of EMQ, asks: We are working on contributing the NanoMQ project to the LF Edge Foundation. NanoMQ is an ultra-lightweight and performance-efficient MQTT broker for IoT edge servers. (GitHub: https://github.com/emqx/nanomq). Would you like to learn more about:

    • the background,

    • current status,

    • and future roadmap of NanoMQ

  • Anylog is proposing to contribute an embedded or integrated version of their product as an optional extension to Open Horizon.  Which WGs would be involved in a sub-group to discuss and evaluate?

  • Carbon Design Systems project's Taylor Jones gave a talk on using GitHub Projects to track and plan.  There was a fantastic amount of detail and example configurations shown.  As we begin to think about moving rituals to the public meetings, their approach may help simplify our lives.  Should we have him consult with us, and if so, when?
