EdgeLake TSC Meeting: Using Ethereum Smart Contracts as an alternative to an EdgeLake Master Node 

Join us for an in-depth discussion on how Ethereum smart contracts are used as EdgeLakes metadata layer. 

In EdgeLake environments, users have the choice between the Master Node or the Blockchain as the metadata platform. The metadata layer includes policies that describe data schemas and data distribution, information about the participating nodes, security and data ownership policies and more. An additional responsibility of the Metadata Layer is to service this information to each EdgeLake node.

In this session, we will show how to use the blockchain as the metadata layer. Specifically, we will explore how smart contracts deliver the metadata functionality to the network nodes and how they integrate into an EdgeLake deployment. We will also walk through a few EdgeLake node commands to seamlessly interact with the smart contract, and demo node synchronization.
