Meeting Summary
Ocre Project Status Update: [05:00]
Ocre project is now building via the self-hosted runner inside of the UNH-IOL.
The project will begin to utilize the “Project” feature in GitHub to build out a more mature roadmap in the coming week.
WASI P1 support, sensors, timers, and watchdogs are to be merged next week, enabling new features and tests.
General Discussion:
Ocre Roadmap Review [15:00]
The team conducted a comprehensive review of the Ocre roadmap, focusing on prioritizing and expanding individual issues. This strategic session helped align the team on key priorities and established a clear path forward for development milestones.
UNH-IOL Integration Steps [27:00]
Development workflows for UNH-IOL were discussed with@Patrick Robb, with a specific focus on implementing a build pipeline for flashing physical boards and incorporating unit tests. The next phase will enable container lifecycle management implementation.
Raspberry Pi Pico Development [34:25]
A technical discussion with @John Walicki centered around implementing serial over USB capabilities and strategizing the port to Pico 2W platform. The team made the strategic decision to discontinue support for Pico 1 in favor of focusing resources on the more capable Pico 2W hardware.
TAC Sponsorship Update [40:53]
A brief but important discussion with @Joseph Pearson covered upcoming changes to TAC sponsorship policies. This conversation highlighted potential impacts to the project's governance structure and sponsorship arrangements.
