Stage Three: Feature Support
Entrance Criteria
When a Feature Design’s sub-features have all been developed, the Chair of that group shall have done the following:
Verified that all sub-features are now activated by default
Updated the Feature Design document’s “current status” to Feature Support
Notified the TSC about the new Feature launch both in the next TSC meeting and on the TSC mailing list
Coordinated with the Outreach WG, Author(s), and Sponsor User for any promotional efforts
Coordinated with the Documentation WG on documentation plans
Ongoing support
Supported Features shall be documented and reported bugs shall be prioritized and remediated as soon as resources allow. There is currently no definition of, nor intent to communicate, how long a given Feature will receive support in the future. However, there is no reason why a specific Feature cannot be given such a designation or pledge if resources are allocated for that purpose.
The community may answer any questions related to Supported Features over official communication channels, including the mailing list and the #open-horizon-help messaging channel.
