Announcement and Issues

• Blog post published about Open Horizon promoted to Stage Three. Please share.

• Any volunteers to represent Open Horizon to the LF Edge TAC? Once we have one or more, let’s vote on it.

• EdgeX Foundry TSC member company YiQiSoft interested in working with us, and potentially joining and contributing. Their current solution needs Open Horizon to scale. @Doug Larson to meet with them. Anyone else interested in joining the calls?

• UC Santa Cruz prof Sri Rao and TerraForma interested in working with our project this Fall. This could involve up to 70-ish students. Let’s clean up our backlog, work on our roadmap, and brainstorm potential feature requests.

Documentation Working Group

• Same items as last time: Issue 708 and distributed README. Will be on break for the next month.

Core Working Group

• One update to agent-install.sh to support Podman on Ubuntu

• Update MAINTAINERS.MD

• Cleaning up anax issues backlog
  
  

Examples Working Group

• draft PR for blessedSamples support in DIAB. Not tested.

• skills-open-horizon ready for widespread use.

• service-ollama in draft state. Works but likely needs enhancements to perform actions like adding and removing models, and details about how to use.

• Is service-anylog ready to use? EdgeLake just demo’d release 2 and management UI.
